love books and always have nowhere to put them. This bookshelf is perfect. Not only is it a beautiful deep rich color, but the size is great and they come in a variety of shelf sizes. The price is also impeccable. I got it for $65.00 with a great coupon (thank you Costway)! The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I didn't make any assembly mistakes like I usually do. It took a little longer to assemble because I have bad knees, but overall it was great. It feels very sturdy and the backing is not that cheap cardboard. Highly recommend!

I've had my eye on this piece of furniture for a while and I'm so glad I bought it. I was debating between this and a smaller piece and this one fits the space perfectly. It's very sturdy, shipped quickly, and was super easy to put together. I think it's a great value for the money and I'm considering buying another set, I love it so much. This was the easiest piece of furniture to put together at Costway, all the pieces were included, and it arrived in mint condition. No regrets at all.

Simple and smooth, it is not difficult to assemble. All screws and holes line up neatly. All the parts are in place. The instructions are fairly straightforward – just make sure you attach the bookshelf as directed (and don’t obstruct the thin wire on the back of the bookshelf). It's almost quick to assemble with an electric screwdriver! The natural color is beautiful and very strong. I think this is one of my favorite items at Costway. It can hold a lot of books and small gadgets. I even bought a second one to increase the capacity (so I basically have 14 square now).

put this in my grandchildren's room to replace a broken bookcase and a doll house that was too big for their room. It worked out great. The only thing I didn't notice in other reviews or descriptions is that the legs are plastic. I really thought they were wood. But it's still very pretty. I love that it's raised. Makes the floor look less crowded. And works as extra storage. My kids put Barbie cars under it like they would in a garage. But it worked exactly as I expected. The small compartments are different rooms for Barbie and we used the bottom compartments as bookshelves. The instructions were easy to follow. It was easy to put together by one person. The childproofing that secures it to the wall works great. I feel safe enough to let my grandchildren play with it. My grandchildren love it when they come home and see it. It saves a ton of space in their room!!! And it's so much more organized! The colors are exactly like the pictures on Costway! I'm now thinking of getting another one for the living room. Different colors though. And of course it holds a lot more than the pictures show. The kids had a blast playing with it and made great memories.

Considering the price, this bookcase is a great buy. The box is very compact and took me about 20 minutes to assemble. The main panel is not wood, but looks like a durable vinyl finish. The feet are lightweight molded plastic. The hardware is very complete, and there is even a basic screwdriver for those who don't have one. Once assembled, the bookcase is very light and stable when rocked from side to side. It does have the risk of tipping over if it rocks back and forth, though - I recommend using wall anchors if you have children or if the bookcase is placed in an area where it is prone to bumping. The plastic feet do not have any rubber or felt on the bottom, and they are not adjustable for leveling. You may need to use shims for stability. Do not over-tighten the screws on the feet, as this can damage the mounting holes. If there is a weak point, it is the feet. When moving the unit, do not apply any pressure or force to the feet other than pressing from top to bottom. Again, do not over-tighten the screws. The screws holding the "wood" panel are the right length, but they stick out a little when tightened. I did not tighten the screws further for fear of stripping or damaging the panel. It's only a little bit, but it's there. With books and a few items in it, it will be more stable due to the extra weight - if it's not secured, be careful about the weight distribution, a top-heavy design will make it more likely to tip over. This is a great looking piece of furniture and a good value for the price. Furniture is expensive these days. It's not the kind of furniture that will last for decades, but it will withstand daily use and some wear and tear.
