browsed through many options on costway. I'm not usually good at buying these kinds of items online, I usually like to see, feel, touch, and ask questions about the item first. :) However, after a few days of research, I looked for capacity, features, ease of use, and an affordable price, and I found this product that ticked all the boxes. I have a pool at home, and ice cubes are a must in the summer (you never seem to have enough), so I'm going to use this machine for the first time this summer. I just hooked it up yesterday, and everything works just as it says. It worked the minute I turned it on, and in less than 24 hours, the bin was full. It's been so easy to use, and I highly recommend it. I'll share updates after I use it fully this summer!!

This ice maker is a marked improvement over the previous one we tried. It is easy to use and makes ice quickly. The ice cubes are not too hard to chew. They are not too soft to melt. The ice cubes are bullet shaped. The highlight of this ice maker is that it actually keeps the ice cubes frozen.

This thing is awesome! First of all, it literally makes its first batch of ice cubes in 5 minutes or less! I was expecting it to take 30+ minutes for the first batch of ice cubes to come out, but I was very surprised to hear that they came rolling out in just a few minutes. The water tank has a large capacity, enough to fill a bucket of ice, so you don't have to constantly refill the tank to fill a bucket of ice. I did notice though that the first few batches after turning it on tended to be smaller than the subsequent batches. But this wasn't a big deal at all, I guess it's just due to how it works and how fast it cools the water. This issue wasn't a big deal to me, not even enough to deduct half a star, but some people might want to know this when purchasing. Overall, we really like this small ice maker and not having to put trays in the freezer saves us a ton of space!
