This is my 2nd machine, and completely different from my 1st.This uses a friction bar with a variable grip (5 settings) to allow you to pack your cigarettes to *your* desire, rather than to just *one* preset by the factory.This device has a removable tray that catches most of the blow-through tobacco (which you can dump back in the hopper).This has a hopper "extender", so you can put more tobacco in, which means fewer refills... I don't use it.This machine is slower than the spoon-type.This machine has a "nib", which you slide the tube onto, which is as long as a king-size cigarette (80 mm).The friction release arm (which you depress each time you load a new tube) is kind of stiff - if you're doing a carton at a time, you'll want to alternate fingers.The motor will overheat if you do too many too fast. The (very limited) instructions say to stop and let it cool down after every pack or so. If you do them fast, that's a good idea... I'm slow, so it doesn't heat up too much for me.Another tip from *my* experience: Rather than fill the hopper up and do as many cigarettes as you can with each load, just grab a pinch of tobacco leaf and drop that into the hopper. It'll keep the electric motor from working really hard ... which means that it won't overheat as quickly.All in all, I recommend this one. I'll be buying another one because we never keep this stuff as clean as we should, do we? Besides, it's only @ $35.00!

I like the different settings to fill with more or less tobacco and it works great. Just have a problem with the hot ash falling out while burning

Works Great, fast and easy to use. Had to grind tobacco to fine cut for a good smoke. Took spring out and make it a little longer and stronger to get a tighter packed cig. Works fine now. Good price for what you get.
