This rack works good on a solid level surface. I use it to hold my time trial bike up at races. It folds up nicely and doesn't take up much room during transport. The base isn't very wide so it's not as sturdy on grass or lumpy terrain. It will also hold up my mountain bike with knobby tires.

Really great purchase
This rack is great I used a similar one on a local bike coffee shop and when arrived home I searched on amazon for one and this had the best cost-effectiveness so I bought it and I love it, really easy to assembling, barely occupy any space and it's an amazing solution for those who's apartment lease don't allow drilling holes for wall mounts like my case. It's a really solid mount it may fit most if not all wheel size (my case it's a 700c) and it really stable, highly recommended!

Comes with instructions, and it can take fenders.
A few prior reviews indicate there are no instructions. Evidently the manufacturer listened to you, because my product came with easy-to-read instructions.This thing works exactly as desired. A bonus (for me) is that my rear wheel can slide into this and my bike fenders do not get in the way. For reference: These are 26" wheels with PlanetBike fenders. When I back my bike into this rack, the fenders *barely* touch the frame - they definitely don't touch it enough to make me concerned.I can park my front wheel on this rack, or my rear wheel. In both cases, the bike remains sturdy and upright. Practically like magic.I have no regrets, and I imagine I'll buy another one if/when I acquire another bike.

Good Convenience Item
This is very simple and inexpensive but it holds up my bike and makes my life a little easier. There is no functional inadequacy and it works as designed. My bike has 700x35C tires and they fit fine.

Instructions please! Great stand.
This bike stand is great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it came with zero instructions. After reading some other reviews I figured out to pull the pin on the side and it opened right up.
