We bought this because of the wide base. Our 18 mo. old grandkid hasn't quite figured it out but she climbs all over it and it doesn't tip over.The base was dented when we received it. It doesn't affect it at all, but I was disappointed to get a dented toy. These days I'm not sure who I'm getting the actual product from when I order from Amazon. I have strangers dropping it off at my house. The dent might have happened with them.

Great toy
I bought this for my 2 year old granddaughter and she loves it! It's sturdy and one piece design means it will last for many years. We have it inside for right now, in her play area, and she just will get so excited to see it. She figured out right away to sit in the middle to rock it when she's alone.

Just what I need
I never disappoints with how well-made their products are. My son has definitely tested it to the breaking point and its still perfect. We will be giving this rocking horse to my newphew and I am sure she will be able to hand it down over and over again.
