Love this. We use it in the bedroom at night. This room doesn’t cool as well so so we needed something extra. It’s relatively quiet, no more than a fan noise. Cools nicely. We occasionally use the frozen bottles for extra cool but you don’t need them. Definitely have to fill the reservoir each night. Very happy with it!

Over all it’s okay

Over all it’s okay, definitely don’t think this should come up when your looking up a portable a/c though. If the room is not ventilated it’s a sauna in the room and feels wet. Gross feeling. Hopefully this comes in handy when I move as of now not so much.

The electronics and hoses and stuff in this machine are really good.. but as far as really cooling a room off if you live in a really hot place it just works okay.. it would be best for a very small room...

Deffintly recommend we don't have ac and perfect to just keep you a little cooler deffintly not a ac but helps me get through my work day in my office. A lot more barerible to live in my house with this.

With it, I sleep very comfortably.

I need a air cooler to cool my small bedroom and it works really well. It is so quiet that I often fall asleep right away and don't even know when it closes. The fan is powerful and the air is cold when used with an ice pack. It has a remote control that is easy to use and wiggles the air Settings, super convenient.

I use this everyday in my bedroom. And took it in my trailer to use with my inverter when shore power couldn't be available for my AC.

I was skeptical at first, but I was wrong.

This swamp cooler exceeded my expectations. Costway claims if your room is no larger than 400 sq. ft., the temperature of your room will drop by 10-15 degrees. The temp. in my room dropped 17 degrees. Now I am getting the best sleep I've ever had this Summer.

Cools the room!

Was skeptical about buying this. However another buyer had posted a video and I bought from her recommendation.
We are very pleased with this unit.
It is quiet and makes a difference in the room we got it for. We did get an extra set of ice packs for it to alternate while the ones freeze…. Also….. add ice cubes to the water when you fill the tank.

Works as advertised

This is a swamp cooler not an AC! Just had to put that out there after seeing some other reviews. That being said I love this thing it is easy to move from room to room and definitely helps to cool the room. It won't replace AC but will help on hot days especially if you use the ice packs and ice.

Great

I work out of my garage in a gated apartment complex. All of the garages are downstairs together instead of connected to each house and it gets really hot in there(even in winter) and this has been great. Granted I don’t close the door when I’m inside so it doesn’t cool everything because the door is open but it blows much better than the 2 fans that I had that seemed to be blowing how air.

Works well but did not last

i really liked how it works. it really helped with my allergies and dry nose throughout the year. the only sad part about it was that it started leaking all over my floor after a year of having it. i thought it may have been the bucket but it was coming from above somewhere. it's such a disappointment spending that much money just to last a year. i was hoping at least it was going to last at least 5 yrs plus

Decent for its price

It’s more of a fan then an AC, I filled the tub with ice and put water and the ice didn’t last an hour, I’ve had it running for about 3 hours and still don’t really feel a difference in my room, I haven’t tried the ice packs yet but that might be better, but even when it was full of ice it didn’t really blow cold air

Just right size and Sufficient wind power

I bought it several times but it was too small.the wind was not enough.they were all idle at home.the last time I bought this cooler, I was satisfied with its size ,and the remote control setting,three gears to adjust the wind,which is very suitable for my windowless room.when I don’t add water, I can use it as a fan,killing two birds with one stone! I’m going to put it in the kitchen tonight,so that it won’t be so hot when cooking…..
