This is a lightweight carrier. You don't need to be super rugged to lift it. A reviewer noted that the fasteners are wimpy. Agreed. The smaller screws Phillips head with 8 mm nyloc nuts. You're apt to strip the Phillips end w/ an impact driver pretty easily so be very cautious. Assembly took about an hour due to the loads of very small bolts.I went to install it on the Tundra but as you can see in the photo the included hitch pin is about 3/4" too short. So if you don't have another hitch pin laying about be sure to set this up well before your trip so you can source a new one that meets your needs.There are no tie down loops or anything so think about that and plan your loadout ahead of time as you may need to make up some rope loops or something.The small bolts that affix the aluminum box to the steel support that goes into the receiver hitch were not super robust so I upgraded the four outer bolts. There are two center bolts as well but I couldn't make the provided hardware work so I didn't use them at all. I can't see any particular benefit from the center bolts.It was interesting that the literature calls out the max allowable speed as 55 mph. That makes no sense but on the carrier there is a label that suggests max speed at 45 mph. Which is obviously 10 mph less sensible. Anyway, that was absurd but sort of funny so there's that.The square stock that goes into the receiver hitch is pretty loose. Consider a hitch tightener to stop it from rattling around.Overall, it's an inexpensive hitch mounted carrier that is fairly well built and doesn't weigh a lot. If you're not sure about a cargo carrier this would be a good place to start. If you're fussy, buy some heftier fasteners but if you're not this should work fine for most uses.

Was easy to put together, seems very sturdy. Lightweight enough to make it easy to put on and take off.

Decent rack

Ok rack, a bit on the cheap side. This is not the strongest of racks, but I bought it because the aluminum would not rust and that is the good.

Very useful but try to get a helper when assembling

This unit works great for us. Light weight and sturdy. It helps to have a second person during assembly but that is the only issue I had with this unit.

Nice BIG carrier

First off this is a Costway carrier not a Goflame... ;)The carrier came nicely packaged and pretty much damage free, although there were a few bumps incurred, as is to be expected... I did not assemble it with the included hardware... I took the advise of another reviewer from a different seller (but still same carrier I am sure...) and used 3/16 aluminum rivets... The rivets worked perfectly and gave a better appearance of build quality IMHO... Also with the rivets I won't have to worry about hardware rust... I will say my hands were a little sore after putting it together though...The reason I purchased this is for camping.... We have a small teardrop camper that has a 1 1/4 receiver on the rear, so I am guessing it is a class 1 which has a tongue weight of 200#... As such I wanted something light weight that can carry our two coolers, and this fit the bill...

Class c rv

Took a bit of time to assemble, but very pleased with purchase. Installed on a class c winnebago view and is very sturdy. Used four 55 gallon totes that now hold all my outdoor set up gear as well as fire wood..

You can’t go wrong with it.

This lightweight removable aluminum cargo basket is a must for us to create a bit more room in the back of our Ford Explorer. Assembly took only about an hour & was very straight forward. Included hardware was of excellent quality too.

Lightweight, sturdy, accomodates large loads

Great rack lots of parts to assemble but very solid

Easy assembly when installed in hitch found that it fit loosely and rattles needs a sleeve or to be made a 1/8"larger to fit in hitch tighter otherwise great rack hauled to 200 lbs. Plus deer with no problems

Super stable

Even when a lot of things and heavy weight is placed on top of this, it wouldn’t even shake the slightest. Also the installation is very simple. Doesn’t look ugly when placed on my car either, in personal opinion. Good for road trips because not everything always fits in your trunk, especially on your way back when you’re bringing back all the souvenirs.
