Well made, like others have said, direction are close to worthless. Had a few nuts & bolts missing; that can happen.. With the directions being so bad they should also sell this unit as a large brain teaser/puzzle with moderate difficulty. Room for creativity, Enjoy!

HORRIBLE INSTRUCTION MANUAL, but great product overall.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with the quality of product. Money well spent. My only MAJOR complaint...THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE TRASH!!!I mean the drawings of steps were beyond unclear, nothing was labeled so I had many trial & errors with pieces turned wrong way or mix up with screws. What I thought would take 30min to an hour took 2HOURS!!!! And I’m nowhere near ignorant to DIY projects....pretty handy actually! The manual is just all around horrible! At one point I just tossed it aside and googled “video users manual floor easel ST38476”. I pretty just used the video I found to put it together. The instructions were absolutely NO HELP whatsoever!!!!Good luck!Good luck!!!

Extremely sturdy!
For me who is not so good at assembling the basic of things this was easy! The only thing that I had to do was step back a couple steps and loosen the side to side the wood into the track properly.

This is what you're looking for!
This easel is perfect! Especially for the price, the wood feels super good quality and looks awesome; the people complaining about the instructions are little kids, there are some misunderstandings because the instructions that came (with mine at least) were about a previous model or something like that, so there was some minor changes, but you just need common sense to pull this thing together, it's quite simple.

Gorgeous and well made
This was a gift to myself because I needed motivation to get going on a large oil painting, so I bought this TANGKULA H-frame easle. It is very well made and looks amazing. I am so happy to own this beautiful easel. Assembly took me about a half an hour but it’s only because I’m so terrible at assembling things.

PERFECT SIZE
This H-Frame easel is the perfect size for smaller work areas. It fits easily in my 12' x 16' library. My only minor complaint is that I needed to add a small tie-down/bungee cord on the back for stability.

VERY STURDY
I like the fact that this easel has a very STURDY bottom to it. It will not tip over like the tripod ones do. Raising and lowering the bars to hold various sizes of canvases is another plus.

Good quality but difficult to assemble
Directions for putting this together were terrible. My husband is in the construction industry and it was difficult for him to figure it out. You have to guess at parts of it. Once it was put together, my daughter loves it. It is nice quality and adjustable. She likes that she can use it standing up or sitting.

Good easel
Instructions are confusing and very small pictures. Other then that I love it. Make sure you tighten up the support bars well. I did not and it did fall. After I made it tight it seams holding up so far.

instructions are basic
The only issue was the 4 holes on the bottom of th tray were not aligned, so the springclasp was not in line with the stepped panel. I just had to move it a bit and its fine. This is fantastic easel and I thought really inexpensive. Its great and big.

Great when it is put together.
The instructions did not have clear picture, and I had to undo it a few times, but if you put it together with out the screws to make sure it's right you can move it until it is right. 20 minutes top. It's easy to move when I paint in the living room. My other one is a tripod and that was hard to move because the legs would move. I love it. Great price! Easy to adjust for height.
