Great for slicing almost any food item

Smooth quiet running with a very sharp cutting-edge. Cleanup is easy, but be prepared for storage of the unit, not small.

I love it

Love it out of the box. The unit is heavy but nevertheless due to the rubber feet doesn't move while slicing. Very quiet. I will recommend.

so happy we gave merit to the reviewer who liked this one because it reminded him of the one he used in the deli he worked at during his college years. really don't have anything to compare with since this is my first slicer, but this slicer is very solid and quiet. it slices with a silky smooth action. love the built-in sharpener. the instructions are most definitely authored by the first version of google translate. luckily, it's just a slicer and not a jet airliner

Received this meat slicer a couple of weeks ago. I would say this slicer is a mini version of the larger commercial slicer you see at a grocery deli counters. My impressions: Out of the box you notice the heavy weight of this thing. With the rubber feet and weight, I found this slicer does not mover around while slicing. I would highly recommend wiping the entire unit down with an antiseptic/disenfectant before using. That is what I did. The slicer had a light coating on it. Be sure to pay attention to the front and back of the blade. Mine was a little rusted. I simply used fine steel wool to scrub it off and then cleaned it again. Turning it on. The motor was smooth and quiet. I sliced some ham, turkey and cheese. Cleaning it in between the meats and cheese. It sliced beautifully. Just don’t try to push the meat or cheese to fast through the slicer. Let the blade do its job. Play with it and you will find the sweet spot for slicing. :) Thin slices are amazing but full thickness slices tend to bind a little on the back slide of slicer because there is no space for the thick slice to fall. Just remember this is a Slicer and not really for cutting your 1 or 2 inch slice of ham. So far totally satisfied with this slicer.
