Q:
There are no real operating instructions. How do you put water into the machine? Does the drainage hose have to be attached constantly? Why does it need a huge exhaust hose? If the exhaust hose has to be run through an open window, the machine is not truly portable and was marketed dishonestly. It compromises the security of my home. I cannot use it and I want my money back.

If the humidity is not so high, the water can be consumed through its own self-evaporation, if the humidity is high, then you may need to manually drain the water, not necessarily the drain pipe.
