Great AC unit, that works well and is well designed
I ordered 2 of these to beat a 7-day extreme heatwave, to be delivered right before it started to get hot for my elderly parents. Once we got them, they worked really well. The instructions are easy to follow, although it does take a bit of effort to get the exhaust tubing to screw into the 2 ends, but very doable. What we learned (that I want to let others know), is that it takes longer to receive, than the Amazon original date given. I don't have Prime, but I did pay extra for shipping to get the units within 5 days and before the heatwave. But we didn't actually get them until 3 days after those dates. To to the credit of the Costway Amazon team, they were very responsive to my complaint and concerns, urged FedEx to get them delivered faster, and offered compensation for the delays. This team did everything they could, and we did get them before the heatwave became more serious for my parents. I appreciate that so much. I highly recommend this portable AC, but don't wait to order it until when you need it. Give them at least 8-10 days to get it to you.

My apartment sucks and during the summer this bad boy not only cools my apartment on a humid night but also blocks out the annoying noise from my neighbors. The only issue I have is getting the vent to stay in the window. I had to use tape to secure it.
