I decided to prepare this gift for my son well in advance, and his excitement when he laid eyes on the train was priceless. The train proved to be exceptionally sturdy and remarkably easy to assemble. I'm eagerly anticipating the day he can confidently drive it by himself, as it's just the right size for him to enjoy. When I first received the package it was well packaged. The assembly process was very straightforward, it took me 5 minutes to put together the train wheels and connect the tracks pieces. My son loved the train sounds and he enjoyed riding on it. The storage under the seat is a big plus, we can store his toys there. Highly recommend this ride on train for highly active toddlers, it should be able to drain their energy for the day!

My niece loves trains, and she loves to ride on them, too. I went looking for a smaller version for her, and I found this one, a nice size and with good specs, too, and I had to get one of these. I was not disappointed; this one has worked out great. First off, very easy to assemble. I like how it came mostly assembled. I also like how easily the tracks are laid down, and the battery comes charged right out of the box. Secondly, it works great. I like how easily this one is to control. It has easy steering and one button to go forward and another to make sounds and flashing lights. I also like how my niece can easily ride it round and round without driving off the tracks and can do that for hours. Lastly, it comes with a good battery. I like how the battery can work for hours; once it is done, it recharges fast too. No cons, it worked out great for me, and I am very happy with the purchase.

We have a 7-year-old who is still under 50 lbs, a middle and the youngest sister. All three of them love the train in their own ways. The middle one adores the train and loves riding it OFF the track and all around the house (much to our dismay). Assembly was simple, but pay attention to the orientation of the steering wheel (2 AA batteries, not included) because once you put it on, it can be difficult to take back off. The orientation matters because one controls the stop/go and the other manages the light/music. A larger battery is housed inside the train itself that is charged from the rear-left side with an AC adapter. Track requires a LARGE room. We do not have that space unless we removed the carpet to create an even floor. So far, fun for all 3 kids. All three of them (including the 7-year-old) can ride on it, though we won't allow the oldest to sit on too long. We're afraid his heavy weight could overwork the motor. There is a pull-out foot rest at the sides towards the front of the train.

Such a fun way to entertain the little kids during Christmas. They like to watch it and ride it. It makes music and noise and fun. Sounds like a train. They can ride it around the track that is included and stay entertained safely. We look forward to being able to bring this out every year for the holidays.
