So quite a few years ago a friend of mine said it was his dream to have a Christmas tree closet. He explained he wanted to store a fully decorated Christmas tree in a closet so all he had to do when the holidays rolled around was wheel the tree out of the closet and plug it in. I thought this idea was BRILLIANT! Ever since, I have wanted my own Christmas tree closet but we lived in a 3 story townhouse and the living room was on the second floor and the only closet on the second floor was the kitchen pantry which was nowhere deep enough for a Christmas tree. You can\'t exactly wheel a Christmas tree up a flight of stairs so my dream was never realized. This year we moved into a single story brick ranch house getting ready for \"old age\". There was only one closet I thought I could dedicate to a Christmas tree and it was pretty small. I tried putting the tree we had in there but it was too big. I needed a smaller tree. So I ordered this 6 foot pencil unlit Christmas tree and I could not be more pleased! I finally have my Christmas tree closet! If you look at my first photo, you will see we set the stand the tree came with in a stand that my husband made me years ago for our townhouse tree. It has a false bottom in that the bottom the stand sits on is higher up than you might think. There is a hole inside so you can have an extension cord come out the bottom of the box. I love this stand and I\'m so happy I can still use it. It does not have wheels on the bottom but it does have thick felt which enables me to just slide the stand along on our bare wood floors. The 6 foot tree comes in two parts which are very easy to put together. I thought the stand made our tree lean a little to one side but I quickly took care of that problem by adding two felt furniture protector tabs to the bottom of two of the legs of the stand. No more leaning. I knew when I began to fluff out this tree I was going to like it. I think for it\'s size, the tree branches are nice and full. The close-up picture shows just how full the tree really is. But the greatest thing of all is I was able to slide my fully decorated Christmas tree into the small extra closet we have without having to remove the upper shelf! The door even closes without a problem. I still need to get some decorative picks to add to the top of the tree and they will have to be removed before putting the tree in the closet but I think I can handle that much decorating when the time comes!! If you want a nice little tree and you don\'t have a lot of space, I think you will be pleased with this 6 foot tree. As you can see, you can give this tree a little more height by placing it in a stand such as my husband made me. I case you are wondering, I added 200 white wired lights and I think this is just enough in my opinion. I ordered Brite Star 100 Count Mini String Christmas Lights which came in a two-pack. They seem to be working fine.

I moved into a smaller apt and needed a smaller Christmas tree, but I still wanted a tall one. A 7\' pencil tree was perfect for me this year.

I love this tree. I wish it was taller, but I put it on a box to help with that. I love the crisp whiteness of it and it was very easy to put the two pieces together. Quality purchase!
