Oh my goodness, this product is amazing! You do need the grinding attachment to connect it, though, which is explained in the product instructions. It's so much easier to strain fruits and vegetables with it. The first time I used this machine, I used it to remove the skin and seeds from tomatoes. I use the bottle brush that comes with the grinder to clean the filter, so it's super easy to clean. Also, I have a 35-year-old KitchenAid heavy-duty blender, and this works perfectly with my old one.
