bought this on a whim because it was on sale that day and I'm so glad I did! Where we live, it can be 40 degrees one day and 80 degrees the next, so it's nice to be able to keep warm on the patio on a cold day. It doesn't have a large heating radius, but it's more than enough for our needs! So glad I came across it!
We love this heater!
Our family and friends always rave about how useful this heater is. It creates a warm and inviting atmosphere every time we have a party in our backyard! Highly recommended. Also…I contacted their tech support a while ago and Myla was very helpful.

Now it works fine again
For what it is and the price, it provides great heating. I was a bit concerned about the quality of it because it kept lighting up after it was in storage for over 6 months after the first use. Fortunately, it is still under warranty and East Oak was kind enough to send me a replacement cover. It may just need a new thermocouple and a new exhaust switch, but it is like new now. It works fine again. So 5 stars for the service and maybe 3.5 stars for the heater.
Excellent customer service!
I had a problem with my console and called East Oak who sprang into action. After suggesting a few fixes that ultimately didn't work, they replaced the console. This was some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. I've since purchased another unit from them.
