I didn't want to pay for the crazily marked up brands named after animals and winter weather, because the cost to produce a double-walled rotomolded plastic hinged box with rubber seals is hella small. They mark these things up as much as 300-400%!! So I took long looks at the off-brand roto-coolers and found that for the price, and based on reviews that is was the one I would roll the dice on. Glad I did! This thing is solid, like bombproof solid. I'm 6ft and 200lbs and have stood on this cooler without hesitation a half dozen times now. I sit on it around the campfire at times, and so has my 235lbs buddy. I've used it 4 times now during the middle of summer in upper 80's to upper 90's weather and even without pre-cooling the cooler the night before, I had almost 1/2 my ice left after 3 days outside at those temps. Had about 1/4 ice left on day 4 on a seperate occasion (haven't used it for more than 4 days in a row) but I'm confident that on that 5th summer day I'd have had little to no ice left but a cooler full of near-ice-cold water, so still cold drinks for all of day 5 I'm guessing. I'm pretty sure if I were to pre-chill the cooler by adding ice the night before, then pouring off th ewater and topping off with fresh ice again on day of departure, I could get 5 days of ice even during July and August.My only complaint is, daaaaamn this thang is heavy, even empty! But so are the other bigger name brands I've lifted in stores, so I didn't take a star off, since it seems they're all heavy. Would totally recommend.

We bought this because of the size for our boat and didn't want to pay for the other big named brands. This works just as good as my buddies named brand cooler at a quarter of the cost of what he paid! Very happy with the purchase so far and we've taken it out on the boat a few times and had plenty of ice and cold drinks leftover at the end of a long day on the water.

This is coming from a dyed-in-the-wool Yeti owner. I needed a specific size cooler to fit on a new boat and this met the dimensions I was looking for. Turns out to be a really nice box! I’ve been using it weekly for six months and still like it... and it was only $99!
