Pleasantly surprised - higher quality than I expected
I rarely adjust the height so can't comment on the durability/consistency of the motor. The quality is much better than I expected given the price. I thought the fact that the desktop is not one "board" but two "boards" would make me uncomfortable with the seam between the two boards, but I didn't notice it because it didn't affect my writing area. My monitor and laptop are on the other half of the desktop.
The perfect adjustable desk for tall people!
My 6'2" fiancé works from home and the SMUG standing desk is a perfect fit for him. It easily adjusts to the right height, allowing him to comfortably switch between sitting and standing positions throughout the day. The desk feels sturdy, well-made, and installation was quick and easy. It really helped him improve his sitting posture and work more efficiently. Highly recommended if you need a versatile and durable standing desk - especially for taller users!

The instructions were hard to understand and as for the materials, you get what you pay for, but overall it looks great and actually took my boyfriend and I a couple hours to build

bought this desk for my small studio and it instantly makes the space feel larger and brighter. I walk in and think, "This thing is so clean." It has a sleek, minimalist look that makes everything around it feel more intentional. It's sturdier than my previous desk. It doesn't wobble when typing or leaning on it, which is important if you're working for long periods of time or just need a stable environment. The lift is smoother than I thought it would be - so smooth that I used it like a toy. I accidentally knocked a painting off the wall on my first day. It was totally my fault. Been switching between different chairs all week just to see which one would go best with it. Haven't decided yet. Only had it for a week but it feels like a part of my daily routine. If you're still on the fence, buy it. It looks nice, feels solid, and makes you want to sit down and get work done.
Perfect for our corner area
Perfect for our area. It comes with a monitor stand, and I used one, so I could tuck the KVM adapter under the stand to save space. I was worried about stability at first, because the steel frame is thin. But once assembled, the stability of the table is very good. No problems with the quality of workmanship: all the parts (and some extras) are complete, and the instructions are easy to understand. Pay attention to the direction of some holes on the metal frame, because other frames need to be mounted on these holes. Anyway, there is only one way to assemble it, so please check the drawings carefully.
