This cage is the perfect size for my rabbit. He has plenty of room and loves to sit on the rack and eat hay from the hay box. The cage has a smooth bottom, which makes it very easy to clean. The latch works great and is high quality. It's a lovely cage.

It's great, very sturdy, and easy to assemble. I'm taking this to my sister's house as a surprise for my niece. That's why it's on the floor. I'll put it on my bedroom dresser with a towel underneath. I bought one for my son and didn't take a picture. When I first opened the box, it looked crudely made, but once I put it together, it worked remarkably well. I have a small colony of pet rats, and it fits perfectly. Once my medium-sized rats grow, I might need a larger cage, but this cage will work fine until then. Please note, I don't think small rats or mice would be suitable for this cage. I've found that two-tier hamster cages work best for mothers and pups. In my opinion, the spacing in this cage is perfect for small and medium-sized rats. I put their nesting box in the bottom so they can burrow into the bottom of the hamster cage, which seems to make cleaning easy. I use puppy pee pads in the bottom tray, but that's just my personal preference; sawdust, shredded poplar, or paper bedding will also work. It has two doors, which I really like. If you're on a tight budget but want more space to keep a couple of rats happy, this cage is also suitable. ☺️
