Most buyers praised the shower chair for its easy assembly, sturdy and stable construction, and comfortable, safe seating—ideal for seniors or post-surgery use. Adjustable legs and anti-slip feet enhance safety on wet surfaces. Some noted size limitations for older tubs and minor discomfort from drainage holes. Overall, the product offers great value, durability, and practical design.
started using this chair after my ankle surgery, and my elderly mother uses it daily as well. It's very sturdy, and we both feel safe using it in the shower without any worries. The chair is moved in and out daily, but as long as it's handled gently, it won't break. I can easily move it into the bathtub, where it sits side-by-side. Since the chair is also frequently used in the shower, it requires almost no cleaning, and after almost six months of use by both of us, it hasn't rusted or cracked. I added a removable seat cushion for myself, but my mother prefers it without one. I find it more hygienic that way. I'm 5'9" (about 175cm) tall and weigh 120 pounds (about 54kg), and my 92-year-old mother is 5'5" (about 165cm) tall and weighs about 140 pounds (about 63.5kg). We both find it comfortable, and there's plenty of room in the armrests. I put it in a relatively small shower stall, and my legs fit perfectly. I previously suffered a trimalleolar fracture (three separate fractures) in my ankle, and I may have leaned on this chair while standing; I had to get in and out of the shower more frequently than usual, and thankfully it supported me. All in all, this chair is fantastic for both my mother and me, making showering a pleasure again! My mother now uses it daily, sometimes every other day, and it's just as supportive as when we first used it, helping me a lot. I'm so grateful for how it helps us shower comfortably and safely, allowing me to step away for a while, giving her privacy, letting her enjoy the warm water, and making her feel confident and happy. I would highly recommend this important health aid, which can greatly improve the lives of older adults or help them cope with illness! And it's also very cost-effective!
Due to multiple joint replacement surgeries and aging, I frequently use the accessible showers at my local gym. Having undergone several surgeries before, I've become accustomed to showering on benches. Considering the risk of falls, I decided to get a bench in my home shower as well. I read many reviews online and looked at many chairs. I've been using this chair for almost a year now and I love it. At first, assembling it was a bit confusing, but the assembly sequence was clear, and the parts aligned correctly, so I assembled it twice. Seeing some comments about the chair collapsing or being unstable, I deliberately tightened all the parts by hand to avoid stripping the screws. This chair is very sturdy. My husband and I can use it safely, and neither of us is particularly thin. I think if the chair collapses, it's either due to an assembly problem or loose screws. If you know you're not very strong, I recommend getting someone to help tighten all the parts. If you don't realize the grooves should be used with the grooves, seek help immediately. …While this chair seems more practical than "aesthetically pleasing," it's truly excellent and will last a lifetime. I feel very safe. The chair legs don't slide easily on the bathtub, but they're also easy to move. I like the backless design. My husband usually faces the faucet, but I prefer to turn the water up and down with my back to it, letting the water flow onto my back. To each their own. The backless chair is perfectly fine; in fact, it gives me more freedom. When not in use, I move the chair next to the faucet, draw the shower curtain, leaving a small gap so it's not visible. It's a lightweight, sturdy, and well-made bench. The suction cup armrests are quite useful. However, it's not a safety bar. If you need to support your entire weight with it, this armrest won't hold up. My husband didn't realize it couldn't support his weight. It came loose from the wall, and he almost fell. It's not easy to come loose, but it's still possible because it's not a safety armrest. Its advantage is that it provides a grip point, making it easier to maintain balance and preventing wobbling when getting in and out of the bathtub. We reinstall it regularly according to the instructions. Since my husband's accident, there haven't been any problems. If you require greater stability, my advice is to install a medical-grade stabilization device rather than risk injury.
Easy to assemble, requiring no tools. The eco-friendly packaging is also a welcome surprise. The narrow base allows it to fit in an old-fashioned bathtub without bumping against the sides. Both the backrest and armrests are adjustable. This is a very sturdy and safe chair.
I bought this after my surgery, and it's perfect for use in the shower. It feels very safe and comfortable. The grab handles make it easy to get up. Assembly was also very simple.
The chair is easy to assemble and very sturdy. It's good value for money.
