3-Tier Nightstand with Drawer and Open Storage Shelf

The hook/hanger for the basket is in the middle, so the height of the basket can be adjusted to suit your needs. I chose to raise the basket a bit so there's free space underneath, allowing me to put a shelf at the very bottom for my tablet. I didn't have a shelf, but I did have a 16-inch plastic mesh charger! I got a small screw, screwed the plastic charger onto the black plastic part of the table leg, and then snapped it in place. Poof! Now I have a shelf underneath. I can put anything underneath, like magazines or books, even boxes or baskets...anything. I thought it was too expensive for the material, so I added it to my shopping cart to see if the price would come down. After a while, it did drop from $34 to $24, so I made up my mind and bought it. Now it's next to my chair, and I really think it's worth the $34, not because of the material, but because of the functionality and purpose it serves. Even though $34 seems ridiculously high for a metal tray, a cheap basket, and skinny steel legs, I highly recommend this side table. It's large and very sturdy, and you can easily add a shelf using a cheap plastic plate charger or party favor. The tray is supposed to come with four black caps to secure the ends of the basket, but I only received two. On my table, the small end that holds the basket in place isn't sharp. If you like, you can even spray paint the table to personalize the tray to match any space in your home. I really like this. It's also lightweight and easy to move, allowing you to clean dust from underneath. I read a review saying it makes a fun cat bed, and I like the idea of using it as a plant stand, but for a plant stand... I'd probably buy one for my plants. Its simple, minimalist design gives it a clean, tidy feel because it's a basket, not a stand.
