Reasonably quiet, quite convenient.
I generally like having a couple of this type if air conditioner handy for HVAC and outage conditions. These are a relative bargain for their output and relatively quiet to more expensive units I have previously owned. You can direct the duct out a window or into an exterior space easily. The remote could be handy for elderly or handicapped, but I find the buttons on the unit easy enough to use and see settings. The unit is currently keeping my home office cool during a record heat wave. This is a very handy unit for an emergency or sitution where fixed window unit is not practical.

AC works
I am happy so far with the purchase. It arrived unexpectedly early, for some reason tracking was not updating. It was easy to install and is working well. It is in a back room with a couple of birds that spook easy. The noise from the AC unit has not bothered the birds at all and it keeps the room cool. I turn it off when playing videos on the computer back there, because it does make noise. I had hoped to wait on this review for a couple of weeks to ensure it keeps working well.....but costway has sent multiple e-mails requesting a review. That is a bit annoying. Pros: arrived quickly, great price, works well so far (1 week), is attractive, easy to install Cons: noise (not as noisy as some in motels...still makes noise) tracking not updating, costway pestering over review I will update if anything revelant occurs.

this portable air conditioner has a nice feature，the air filter. it cools down the room very quick and with very little noise. I used to have a window unit which is much louder than this one.

I am extremely impressed with this product. The unit cools my room quickly and efficiently. The built-in dehumidifier is amazing, the room feels much more comfortable and less humid now. The 24-hour timer is very convenient as well and the window installation kit and remote control that come with the unit make installation and operation very easy. Overall, I highly recommend this A/C to anyone looking for a reliable and effective cooling solution.
