Much Easy to put together than I thought
This fireplace is absolutely gorgeous and incredibly sturdy, especially considering the price. It provides instant heat, adding a really nice touch to the room and making it very cozy. Assembling it was pretty easy; the instructions were very clear, and it took about 2 hours to put together all by myself ( not a very handy women) The 4 cable management holes are effective for keeping electric cords well-organized. My 75-inch TV looks perfect on it. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! It looks amazing in my living room. Highly recommend!

Perfect for my fireplace, and perfect for the coming season. The heat coming out is just perfect for our living room, adding the different color when you change the setting of it i enjoyed watching it while changing it’s colors. Worth my money and sturdy

Missing trim that you would assume came with it.
This fireplace is a cheap and functional option. Doesnt put out a ton of heat even on high. I dont expect it to. One thing that was frustrating while unboxing it was that the trim piece around the unit DOES NOT come with it. So i have to customize my own piece or stare at screws and a poor finishing touch.
A good replacement for my failing RV fireplace.
I bought this Costway 26” fireplace to replace the failing Greystone 26” fireplace in my RV. Even though they are both 26” fireplaces the box of the Costway isn’t as wide as the Greystone, 24.44” compared to a true 26”. Because it is narrower I had to install some wood shims on the inside for the mounting screws to sink into. Look closely at the dimensions of the unit shown online, I found them to be accurate. I had to fabricate a trim piece that would cover the mounting screws and some exposed wood. I couldn’t reuse the trim piece that came with the Greystone because the outside of the Costway is slightly wider than the Greystone. This unit worked as a replacement fireplace for my RV but it was not a direct bolt in installation for me because of the small size differences. Once installed it seems to work fine. Heat output is about the same as before. These electric fireplaces have the same output as a little cube heater so you can’t expect a lot from that. The fan is a little louder than the previous unit but not bad. The Greystone had more realistic flames but you won’t find real looking flames in a fireplace at this price. The remote works better on this unit because it will operate at an angle while my old one had to be straight on to the fireplace to work. Overall I’m pleased with the unit, it was a good replacement for the RV.
