excellent unit
I needed a unit for the Chicago seasons. I just purchased this unit on BlackFriday and it has already got to 5° outside. This 12,000 btu unit packs a punch. I only use it for a bonus 12x12 room and the heat is amazing and makes the room comfortable. Easy install, only took 6hrs from a professional because a 230V had to be wired. Purchased the wall mount and cover to protect unit from the snow and insects. Fastest shipping ever from Costway! Wifi and app for Android is awesome!Can't wait to test the A/C part in the summer!

Great unit!!
I purchased 2 energy star rated units. 1 through Amazon and the other directly from Costway. Both units were easy to install, I vacuumed the lines, tested, and charged them. NO problems. Line sets fit perfect. They are12k and 17 k, BTU splits. I had to extend both supplied cords for each split set up. Easy to solder 4 wire extension on and heat shrink.

- Q:About to purchase this unit (Item No: 41728536 24K mini split) but the 13ft copper tubeing that comes with it is not long enough for our installation. Instead we need to buy 25ft tubes, but there are two different sizes -- what size OD tubes do we need, the 1/4 and 3/8 inch OD copper pipes tubing or the 1/4 and 1/2 inch OD version? We'd rather not have to wait for another shipment, wanting to order the right part to come with the unit so we can get right to the installation. I'm guessing the two different sizes are not interchangeable, is that correct?A:If customer purchases 25 feet lines elsewhere, please ensure that the air pipe is 5/8in and the liquid pipe is 1/4in. Additionally, extending the pipes will require the addition of extra refrigerant, with every 1 meter of extension requiring an extra 30g.
