This product was very useful after my vein surgery. For a whole week, I couldn't expose my legs to hot water, such as in the shower or when standing. So this chair was the best solution. It's very lightweight. Easy to install. Followed the instructions and installed it in about 5 minutes. Stable and non-slip. It also has armrests on both sides. Highly recommended. The legs are slightly shorter so that it sits securely when in the tub. The non-slip feet don't slide around, it feels stable to sit on, and I can get in and out quickly. The grab bars can be removed if you don't need them. The holes in the top are large enough to let some water through without affecting the stability of the seat. It's a little frustrating that you can't tuck a shower curtain in like you can with a normal shower, but it's not the end of the world. If you have a handheld shower head, it will work well with this bench. I really appreciated this bench after knee surgery. I was able to sit down and slide into the shower, and we also adjusted the height of the bench so that I could rest my legs against the tub wall while I was sitting there taking a shower. This helped me learn to shower independently much faster. I'm also on the larger side, and this bench is the right size and sturdiness. I don't feel like it will collapse under me or anything.
