I wanted this for my outside kitten for the winter . Pros. It is addorable when it is all set up. When I received the box I opened the box up and wow it stunk! It was cedar so I guess it is suppose to be that smelly. The holes didn’t match up for Most of it so we just made the holes for The nails. Overall when put together it is going to serve our purpose to keep the cats warm this winter .

Nice cat house
This is a nice cat shelter. I read the reviews so I knew I would have to tweak it a bit. I took silicone & completely sealed all seams & floor. I made a door to cover the big opening in the front. I insulated the entire house & put plastic covers on the doorway that did not have one & added plastic strips to the door ways that already had them to make it more water proof. I put weather stripping under the roof to prevent drafts. I also repainted it to camouflage it as we have coyotes around here. This is for my very feral cats to help them get through the winter. I built it by myself & have no building skills. The instructions are not hard to follow. I am happy with this house. It really is cute.

Cute house but very small - best for kittens
Instructions were very confusing and even when built correctly, the roof is crooked yet flush with the walls. House is too small for our 12# calico and our 8# white and black fits in the largest of the doors but neither are small enough to lay in the windows like the description shows.
