Energy Star Certified 18000 BTU 21 SEER2 208-230V Mini Split Air Conditioner and Heater Wifi Enabled White

I bought this unit in the middle of June in the Midwest during a very hot heat spell I have a 1400 square-foot house that I was wanting to cool down a good portion of. I did some research and decided to pick one of these cost way units. The price seemed pretty good and overall mostly offbrand mini splits will function like they need to as long as you hook them up correctly, this one came in within about six days very little to no damage on the unit. I mounted my unit on the backside of my house up in the air And installed my head unit. It took about six hours total and I also ran my electrical and a shut off box I did everything up to code and turned on the unit and I will say that unit is nice. I have a running at 70° and it is cooled my whole house down to 70° flat. I had a 12° drop from when I didn’t have my unit installed my house Was running around 81°. The unit is very quiet as it is an energy efficient unit in the black head. Unit looks really good Also. The only thing that I’ve had to do to it is periodically go out and wash the coils and keep them nice and cool and clean Of cotton. The line that being pre-charged is really nice and I would recommend this unit to anybody who’s wanting the unit like this it was affordable. It was easy is very effective. I cannot vouch on the heat pump portion, but I will try that later and see where it goes.

I’m very happy with my three split units, even though I initially had an issue with FedEx. They failed to deliver all the items and made the process difficult by declining my complaint about the missing outdoor unit. However, I contacted Costway, and they promptly resolved the issue by sending me a replacement outdoor unit. Overall, I’m very satisfied with their customer service. I hope the units work flawlessly after installation, and once they’re set up, I’ll share my experience with everyone about how they perform.

I needed a unit for the Chicago seasons. I just purchased this unit on BlackFriday and it has already got to 5° outside. This 12,000 btu unit packs a punch. I only use it for a bonus 12x12 room and the heat is amazing and makes the room comfortable. Easy install, only took 6hrs from a professional because a 230V had to be wired. Purchased the wall mount and cover to protect unit from the snow and insects. Fastest shipping ever from Costway! Wifi and app for Android is awesome!Can't wait to test the A/C part in the summer!

I purchased 2 energy star rated units. 1 through Amazon and the other directly from Costway. Both units were easy to install, I vacuumed the lines, tested, and charged them. NO problems. Line sets fit perfect. They are12k and 17 k, BTU splits. I had to extend both supplied cords for each split set up. Easy to solder 4 wire extension on and heat shrink.

Unbelievable price for all the options it has. The tech that installed the unit said it would have cost almost $6000 for all the stuff this thing has. Super quiet when running
