This is truly an amazing item. My mom can't get in the bath or into the shower right now, so we bought this. I can put her in it and then turn around and get into the tub. I have to help her lift her legs up, but it's so easy to do and makes bathing her a breeze. I love this so much.

This makes bathing with my 200-pound husband so much easier. We used to use a shower chair, and he was always afraid of falling when stepping into the tub. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy. Simply flip the chair over, facing outward, and slide it out of the tub. Sit down, and slide/turn it into the tub. It's very sturdy and made of soft material. It's a bit pricey, but worth it.

bought this shower chair because it seemed like the perfect solution for my husband, who has bad knees and has difficulty standing. He's due for knee replacement surgery soon. This chair seemed like it would make showering easier for him. My son assembled the chair and discovered that the locking system (updated in 2024) for the seat wouldn't lock. The holes are in the wrong place: the seat rests against the side of the railing, not the outside, where the red knob should lock. So now I have to return the shower chair. The quality of the chair seems good, but it's not enough to just look good; it has to have proper safety features.
