We have an open-concept great room that's about 1,400 sq ft, and our old window unit couldn't keep up at all. This mini split is wonderful. It cooled the whole space down in like 20 minutes on a 100°F day. The best part is our electric bill actually went down compared to our old unit—I'm guessing the variable speed compressor and the R32 refrigerant really do make a difference. Installation wasn't cheap because I had to hire a licensed HVAC pro like they recommend, but honestly it was worth every penny. If you have a large space and want something that actually works without breaking the bank on energy, get this one.
