1500W Smoothie Maker High Power Blender with 10 Speeds

This is a powerful little blender. I thought I'd give it a try and put dried seaweed, water and a couple of aspirin in it to treat an avocado tree I have in a pot on my patio. It seems to have some brown spots. That being said, I put the seaweed and aspirin in the blender and filled it with water. Without thinking too much, I turned it on and holy crap. Green seaweed was everywhere. So I thought I'd skip the pictures of that mess. Not the smartest thing I did today. So I will warn you, with this beautiful blender, always keep the lid on. I'm going to clean it. I give it 5 stars because it taught me a lesson. Now to clean up the kitchen and start over. Oh, and yes. It has a full size glass pitcher and one for smoothies.

Frozen margaritas and slushies, pay attention, because here I come. This low-profile, large-capacity blender quickly cuts ice for delicious frozen drinks. The compact design is awesome, and it's super easy to clean. I haven't tried it for anything other than blended drinks, but I'm sure it'll make quick work of smoothies. It's perfect for my bar, and would be great for an apartment or kitchenette.

The large glass jar is very convenient when I'm making smoothies or shakes for my family, while the compact travel mug is perfect for mornings when I'm out and about alone. The travel mug's screw-on lid is secure, keeps it in your bag, and is sturdier than most travel mugs. The two speeds are enough for most tasks, and the pulse button is especially useful for breaking up stubborn ice.

use it multiple times a day since I bought it. It's replacing the top of the line Ninja blender. The difference between the two is amazing. These guys must have really good patent lawyers or something, it's strange that no one can replicate what the Vitamix does. It crushes the finest berry seeds in smoothies. They're just like that. Smooth. To some, that may not seem like a big deal, but for someone like me who enjoys a whole food smoothie every day, it changes everything. And yes, you can make soup with it. Raw veggies, some soup base, some cheese, some water, let it work for 5 minutes or so, and you have hot soup to enjoy, it's nutritious, and it doesn't contain any preservatives. I recommend watching people on YouTube how they use them. There's a certain way to use them, and there's a certain way to load the machine. Use the tamper! When you're making a smoothie or hummus or nut butter, pesto, etc... nothing happens unless you use the tamper. I've seen people complain here about the blades just spinning and nothing happening. There are bubbles above the blades, everything is frozen, etc. etc... that's not possible if you use the tamper. With a little experimentation, you can do with this blender anything a blender can do and more. It's hard to pay that much for a small kitchen appliance. I've been patient for over 20 years and have used countless cheap crap blenders. If you want to save a few hundred bucks, buy a refurbished one. But it's worth every penny. Not because of how expensive they cost to make, but because they are apparently the only ones that can do it. They have cornered the market on what are truly the best blenders in the world.
