We purchased this truck for our 2 grandsons and they absolutely love it. We love the radio & RC. It’s good quality and looks great too. Assembly took awhile but a YouTube video helped. Definitely recommend it.

Great Product after reviewing others
The assembly was a little difficult and confusing. I took pictures of the top and bottom of the car to get an idea of what parts go where. One customer review was poor due to parts not aligning. I ran into similar issues, but was able to unscrew and adjust the alignment to then screw in tighter for the wheel axels. Make sure before you start to unplug the back wheel motors from the battery. You will see the clips. This will allow you to rotate the vehicle without damaging anything. Recommend putting on the wheel fenders first then center fenders. Once this is done, turn the car over and install the axels. Hope this helps.

Does the remote override the steering/pedal functions when in manual mode? i.e. I'd like for my child to have control of remote and steering and I intervene with the remote when/if needed.

In the case of this product, the remote control has priority over manual operation. This means that if the remote control is in use, the manual steering and pedal functions will not work. Therefore, you cannot have both the remote and manual controls functioning simultaneously in a way that allows your child to steer while you intervene with the remote. When the remote control is active, it takes precedence over manual controls.
