12 V BMW 507 Licensed Electric Kids Ride On Retro Car

This car is so so cute. And if that’s all that mattered it would be 5 stars, but there is little to no power even when fully charged the car is unable to go up the slightest dip. I personally would have gone for a less cute but more powerful option if I had known.

Whenever the rear wheels drive it creates a high-pitch winding noise as if the car is about to die. The music that comes along with the car is Chinese music that you would find in old school movies or in on my grandparents record players.

 My daughters LOVE this little power wheels coupe. My son got a hoverboard for his birthday and my 4 year old daughter was jealous and wanted one but she’s not developmentally ready for that. She had loved a friend’s power wheels truck so I was looking for one for her. My husband has a thing for teal so I knew he would get a kick out of this car. I assembled it myself to surprise my husband and our daughters. It was really easy, most of it came put together and I only had to attach a few pieces. The directions made sense and the only time I hit a snag was attaching the second rear drive tire but the directions told me how to correct the problem I was having. The remote control connected easily too but I want to point out that it didn’t work with rechargeable AA batteries so I had to dig around for a pair of disposable batteries since we’ve switched to rechargeables several months ago. I love that this car can be operated via remote control because my 2 year old can’t control the car by herself so she can still take turns while dad gets to play with her like my son’s rc cars. The music player is absolutely adorable and it cracks me up. It has like a talk radio station too, such a cute touch. It said to charge for 8-12 hours but it could be enjoyed for about 20 minutes after a 3 hour charge. The charger plugs in right into the dash so you don’t have to take off the seat to charge it, very handy. It has good power on pavement, I wouldn’t suggest it for lots of grass driving.

 This is the most adorable battery powered car!The design is stunning and looks really sophisticated and classic. The quality of all the components are incredibly high and I’m so impressed with how everything feels and looks.It comes very well packaged and requires minimal construction. The instructions are very easy to follow and you simply push the wheels on (be sure to identify front and rear wheels - rear are thicker).You then connect the two red power cords under the seat to complete the circuit and then attach the seat securely. This part I really like as previous vehicles we’ve had have always required you to remove the seat in and off to charge and this one has a small charging port plug on the dashboard which makes connecting to a mains power supply very easy.We live all the additional details such as the light up dashboard, the optional MP3 player, the sounds effects and the headlamps.We also think it’s great that you can have a fast and slow mode and an easy front or reverse switch so younger children will find it very easy and fun to operate.Both doors open which will also be a very fun and realistic feature and overall the appearance, build quality, easy of construction and the attention to additional details makes this a really worthwhile investment if you’re looking for a 12v toy car.The addition of a remote control makes it easier for parents with possibly younger children if you’re looking for them to grow into it or for those moments when your child decides not to ‘drive’ anymore which is where the carry handle also comes into use if needed.Really impressed and would recommend.

Got this for my granddaughter and she loves it! The car is sturdy but lightweight at the same time. The remote control is easy for parents to use and it actually has pretty go range between the remote and the car. It plays music to although the voice part of it is kinda automated sounding the music is good. It does have a seat belt but I would not put a child who is not sturdy when sitting in the car.
