This is the perfect solution for any rural or suburban areas.
You will be able to pick up TV signals with much better reception than with a regular fixed or rabbit ears antenna, as the antenna can be aimed at any particular direction. In addition, it easily and fast to install, no technical knowledge needed and grabs local channels fast and clearly. Power outlet is not required outside where the antenna is mounted.
Don’t hesitate to buy it!
I read the "Top Critical" review and some critical comments about the antenna being a ‘poorly made China import’ and the directors and reflectors of the antenna being ‘Non-Functional eye candy’. That had me worried. I have mine connected to a TV in our master bath we use to watch local traffic, news and weather while getting ready in the morning. WIth this antenna I get about 15 channels, TVfool.com tells me the channels' towers are about 25 miles away. I could get more stations, but I just laid the antenna on the insulation in the attic. I don't use the rotator, but it is important to plug in the booster/rotator controller or the amplifier won't be assisting your signal gain. As a former secondary school science teacher, and electronics buff with hobbies including DXing (pulling in FM radio signals from over 100 miles away), I know a thing or two about antennas. All the little director elements of this antenna are not just eye candy, and they do not need to be grounded to a metal mast to work. Just Google, “Build a yogi antenna” and see all the antennas with plastic or wooden masts and rows of tiny directors. Spaced properly they are helpful in improving signal gain. While the Saftar 360 definitely isn’t top drawer it gets the job done for me.
good only lasts a few years though
It works very well and surprised how many channels it picks up also is very simple to assemble
We cut our ties with all cable and satellite TV providers and this works great. Get about 15 channels without all the BS channels. :)........And we save mega $ each month that used to cost around $1200/year!
works fine. Antenna is hard wired to rotor assembly and is a weird tiny size, So far can't splice to existing coax. Great reception.
