It comes with all the parts and is fairly easy to assemble, but it requires at least two people and some time to build. It is fairly stable, but needs to be anchored to concrete to prevent wind damage.

It turned out great. I installed it on my second floor patio. Everything arrived safe and sound. Overall, it took me about 6-8 hours to put it together myself. Although I am quite handy, I think good organization is what this gazebo needs the most. Here are my tips for building it: #1 - Set up the area where you will be assembling everything. I recommend laying out 4 pieces of wood in parallel about 3 feet apart. This will allow you to easily assemble the posts and beams without having to drag them across the ground or concrete. #2 - Organize the pieces alphabetically. #3 Lay out all of the posts before you start assembling. I find this speeds up the final assembly. #4 Pay attention to the holes in the posts to make sure you don't put anything upside down. #5 Make sure you mount it on a secure vertical surface where you can securely attach the legs and use the brackets provided to secure the legs. If you don't secure it both on the feet and vertically, it will fail and it will be your fault, not the company's. Take your time and you won't regret it.

I really like this pergola, it's lightweight and we may replace a few of the screws with longer screws in the future. It works great and was quick to put together. We poured a foot deep concrete base for it. We added a tie rod to hold it open when not in use (it's so windy in Colorado in the spring and the shade always floats out). I appreciate the little holes for drainage. Overall it looks great, functions well, and was a great price.

Perfect for a patio shelter. The instructions were easy to follow and you definitely don't need two people to help. Looking forward to hanging our lights and plants and creating the wonderful retreat we've always dreamed of! Will definitely buy again!
