Very practical!
The unit is great - runs well and is much quieter than our old one. But the install instructions are sorely lacking. Diagrams are confusing, and there is no mention of the fact that you must remove the plug that blocks the dishwasher drain connection. Needed a heavy duty electric drill to accomplish this. Very frustrating.

1. It was not easy to install, and certainly,not for one person's job.2. The drain plug had to be drilled out. It was not something to come out with just a screwdriver.3. Since the level of difficulty to install for me was too much, I wanted to return. And to my surprise, I was told that I have to pay $16.00 shipping cost which will be deducted from the total refund money. Din't like that..

Drill out so called drain plug
Only con was the plug! It's not actual 2 peace little end cap plug the whole part unscrews an I had to drill it out for proper use for the washer to drain other than that I expect to get 15 plus years out of this !

Working good
It's a little different from the old one we had. But this one come with flexible pipes. Which makes it much easier to install. We were able to replace it ourselves. Which is good.

Great buy if you want a strong option
Strong and quiet. The hookup was a bit different than I have but I made it work. Well worth it and been running great for months. As I have a septic tank the power on this is great for grinding up the toughest stuff
